ALONG THE ENTIRE WEST COAST OF SOUTH AMERICA

This is a story about my journey in 2016 and 2017. After spending a month in Central America, I went down south and after a whole lot of rigmarole to get the right papers, I purchased a brand new cross motor in Colombia. And all this without speaking one word of Spanish - at least at the time.

Little did I know that my journey would take me nearly 20.000 kilometers along the entire west coast, all the way to Ushuaia, this earth's most southern tip. About a decade prior, I experienced a similar journey, yet this particular one I spend in Asia, where I drove a cross motor for 10.000 kilometers, also pioneering Tibet without a Permit, where no westerner had gone before.

Of both my lengthly travels, where I was away from home for a year, I wrote a book, describing in detail all that entailed. The beauty of nature and people I've met, as well as the hardships and all the setbacks of driving a cheap motorcycle. My first book is about that trip in Asia, together with some other travels, and it is called Breaking Free, the 1st part of the series of Good To Go. And the follow up from this one is called Beyond The Equator, where I take you on a ride through South America and all the crazy things I experienced there.
