Fellow riders.

I plan to do a limber up ride round part of Australia before heading off to Europe.  

I have already ridden the world (and I mean it, not just a wannabe) and now I want to do some missing bits.  As a history lover I would like to start in Rome since that is where much of our "life" knowledge started, ride to the ferry to Sicily and Tunisia or Tripoli and then ride acoss the top Algeria, and ferry to Spain and back to Morocco ( I understand passing betwen Algeria and Morocco is still prevented....).

After Morocco Spain and France and back to Rome.

Simple really.  I would leave the R1200 GSA at home for this ride. I think with the places and ferries a 450 will do the job. Perhaps a DR 450.
