I will be starting my trip in only 2 short weeks. If anyone is interested in my bike it is a 2008KLR650 with 12,000kms, doo-hickey upgrade, Thermobob, front and rear crash bars, (homemade) hard side panniers, high windshield, GPS mount and USB hook-up, handlebar braces. Im hoping she will be everything I hope her to be!

Just finalizing insurance and road side assistance.

I have opted to insure my bike for the year and cancel said policy once I arrive in Mexico

I have updated my CAA policy from basic to plus. Plus will cover my motorcycle in Canada and the USA and provide towing up to 250kms and it only costs another $52. well worth the investment in my mind as Ive yet to master the art of repairing a punctured tire on the side of the road.

Looking to begin my journey by putting on alot of kms in the first week. Mainly to fasttrack my way to British Columbia where I will be staying with relatives and celebrating my birthday
