A mountain chain in southwestern Europe that stretches from the Mediterranean Sea to the Bay of Biscay. The mountains form a 430-km (270-mi) long geological wall between Spain and France. It's home to a variety of peoples such as the Andorrans, Catalans, and Basques. Each speaks their own dialect or language, with mutual desires to maintain their autonomy while simultaneously preserving a general unity.
