40 Countries in 2006 on my ST1300

To celebrate my early-retirement and to mark 40 years of bike-riding I decided to visit 40 countries on my Pan European ST1300 in 20062006 marked a big change in my life. I ‘took’ early-retirement from my job of 29 years in April. I wanted to mark the change in some way, some way that involved me and my bike. I first thought of visiting every country in the EU but that would involve long ferry-crossings to Cyprus and Malta and I don’t particularly like ships!
