Mama Argentina
Follow this story by emailA short story about my experience in Argentina and the surrounding area. After a trip to Patagonia I realized that my trip continues from here on out with a motorcycle.
I went back to Buenos Aires to find the motorcycle I was traveling with. The plan is to descend south in Argentina, ascend north to a lifeguard, move to Bolivia and return via Paraguay.
The motorcycles chosen for the trip are medium-sized motorcycles that suit my and my friend's abilities. honda falcon400 and honda xre300 to my friend.
What do you take with us? Personal equipment bag, oil for the chain, a kit for repairing punctures, rescue equipment containing a rope and a towing strap. Tent, sleeping bag and cooking equipment.
What did we go through? The deserts of Argentina thence to San Martin de los Andres through the lakes to Bariloza, via Route 40 (south) to Chile Chico. Moving to Chile, Cratara Austral, resting in Pucon and ascending as far as Santiago, returning to Argentina. Mendoza, Salta and Jojoi. Cross to Bolivia, the Uyuni Salar, ascend to La paz and descend to the jungles of Bolivia on the way to death. Cross Paraguay, cross Paraguay to the Iguazu Falls. Returning to Mother Argentina back in Buenos Aires to sell the motorcycle. The whole trip was 17000 km, 3 months.
Now we are here, in Buenos Aires, trying to sell the motorcycle. If you want to make our trip, let's take it.
