Bearing South

Bearing south,

Following a cheap wine and girls fueled poorly planned Australia expedition  in 2016 - 2017 on Imogen the 2013 Klr i picked up in Blackheath NSW. I am at it again.

Kyle, a long time riding friend that could pass as my brother and Dave, also haywire and toting a beemer 650, and I are heading south mid November. I am on my new Kwacker, matilda the 2009. who knows how things will go, but for sure a combination of our infectious optimism,excitement and the bitter Canadian winter is a good enough reason to head south.

About me, I am originally from Comox,Vancouver island, where i started riding at 4 years old, seeing as my parents were dirty hippie bikers back in the day. I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. I like to build stuff and shoot guns, adventure and music are my passion only second to bikes. I would rather be on my bike no matter the weather or day. Last Saturday I went out for breakfast with this chick im into, me her and her weiner dog on my bike. I wouldn't have it any other way. 

I have been living on and off in Squamish doing Hvac work and messing around for a few years now. Its a pretty cool place to check out if you haven't yet. I found the town 4 years ago on a bike trip and never really look back.
