GPS woes with Garminworldmaps

just wanted to say that I contacted Garmin as I have a car GPS unit of theirs but they do not have a GPS mapping system for Panama and referred me to another company (forgot name) who also did not have anything for Panama.  I contacted PanamaWorldMaps (based in Germany) and they assured me that their GPS map download would work for Panama.  It did not work when I tried it at home in the States but hoped it would in Panama.  Once in Panama I found that it only included a few of the major cities and major routes and did not offer GPS directions at all.

We rented a unit that provided wifi in the car while traveling and we could use our Google Maps and their local Waze software to navigate, so things worked out well for our 10 day trip.
