Rode my KLR from Virginia to Alaska and back. 143 days on the road. 22,031 miles. 6 Canadian Provinces. 17 states of the United States. 2 front tires. 3 rear tires. 6 oil changes. Sprockets and chain changed twice. 1 new air filter. Spark plug replaced. Battery replaced. 7 blown fuses. 1 collision with a car. Radiator replaced. Bent engine guards/ crash bars. Broken skid plate. 5 skateboard decks. 2 pairs of skate shoes.

Lack of showers. Tent camping. Smelly boots. Rain. Snow. Heat. Cold.

Countless conversations with amazing and nice people along the way. Invited into homes for the night. Offered food and meals. Shared campsites. Inspired by so many other travelers and locals. And it was all worth it. I’d turn around and do it all again tomorrow!
