Morocco by Africa Twin but only the coastal bit?

My partner has invited me to go and see a friend finishing a Rally Raid in Essaouira. Any excuse to get on the bike for a nice long trip so im looking to ride down from the UK but will probably take the ferry to Santander to chill out for a bit and save my ass for Spain and beyond.
