Maine to Patagonia? 2019

I thought I'd share the basic layout of my travel plans in hopes that others will be interested in meeting up at some point to travel together. I've had my bike since almost 15 years but have never taken it on a long trip. I recently decided to move, sell most everything, and high-tail it out of here for warmer weather!

I will leave Maine before December on my Honda CB350, heading south for warm weather and entering Mexico about a month after I depart. I would like tp stop in Monterrey, Mexico for three weeks or so and work on my spanish at a school there before I head further south. 

My plans are to take my time on backroads, scenic routes, enjoying time at UNESCO sites, ruins, natural geological features like canyons and gorges, and meandering my way to Panama meeting fun and intersting people all the way! I was intested in hitching a ride on the Stahlratte sailing vessel to Columbia (from Panama) but im not sure if that will work given their schedule. I will likely find some way to ship my bike across to South America and then head south through Equador and Peru. Beyond that point, I have no plans. But I hope to be in South America by April.

Please let me know if you have any questions or interest in trying to meeting up in any of these countries. It would be great to travel with others, especially in some of the more remote areas of Guatemala, and Honduras.
