Left Epsom at 07.25 by taxi, an asian guy drove us to the airport.

Flight to Calgary was delayed by nearly an hour, however, the pilot managed to catch up a little time so we landed only 15 minutes late. 

ENJOYED VERY PLEASANT RELAXED STROLL BY RIVER

 Took a taxi to the Westin Hotel & settled in - we then went for a walk near the river & enjoyed an indian meal with wine (Chardona) which should have been shandy!! Retired to bed approx 9pm.

Mon 29 June

Neither of us slept too well.

We got up early and investigated the hotel & pool & gym at the top. Breakfasted at Subway & had a walk around the shops behind the Westin.

Checked out from hotel @ 12.20pm and taxied to Cruise Canada, eventually left with RV but had difficulty in escaping Calgary.

Spent night @ Crossfield in car park adjacent to garage & railway line.

Jerry did 59 kms.

Tues 30 June

Drove to Water Valley and stopped at the saloon and hardware store.

Went for walk down to river. Dave was worried about the bears & cougars.

We asked a workman on site about the bears & he gave us some embellished stories about cougars too.

We turned round on forest road & entered Elkton Campsite as we weren't allowed to stop near the entrance.

Dave did 143 Kms.
