WrongWayRound&Down
Follow this story by emailHi... I’ve started my “LongWayRound&Down” adventure & have completed two Chapters so far.
Chapter1 started at home here in Ireland. My friend Kieran & myself set off for London in August 2016 & flew our KTM 990 Adventures to Nova Scotia in Canada. From there we made a terrific journey across Canada diving paved & unpaved roads (TCAT Trans Canadian Adventure Trail) to Tofino on Vancouver Island in British Columbia covering in excess of 10,000km. From there, my friend flew home with his KTM & continued on to Seattle where I left my motorcycle & flew home to Ireland.

Chapter2 began in August 2017 in Seattle & I drove solo to Antigua in Guatemala on a trip named the “WrongWayDown” it was another 7week adventure & also covered in excess of 10,000km taking in Yellowstone, Yosemite & most of the other fantastic National parks on the west coast of the USA. I crossed into Mexico at Tijuana & travelled down the Baja peninsula to Cabo & crossed to the mainland from La Paz via ferry. I met my now good friend Alex on that ferry & we travelled a number of days through Mexico & drove some of the best roads i’ve ever driven on... Alex is joining me with Kieran on Chapter3 in Peru. I drove on to Guatemala & left my bike in Antigua with my friend Carlito. I then flew home to Dublin in October 2017.
