Yerevan

There is much to see in Armenia's capital city, including the dancing fountains in the Republic Square, the State Opera House, numerous museums, churches, a cathedral, and parks. The Matenadaran is a combination of library and museum with Greek, Hebrew, Roman, Persian, and Assyrian ancient manuscripts on display. The ruins of the Urartian City of Erebuni and the Karmir Blur historical site are nearby. Mount Ararat can be seen from the city.
