Córdoba is Argentina’s second largest city established in 1573. It has many historical buildings of note including the Jesuit Block which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Plaza San Martin, in the heart of the city, has the best colonial architecture. The cathedral, which took two centuries to complete, is nearby as is the impressive Cabildo building boasting a white façade, the University and the oldest Jesuit temple in the country.
