Cosquín Folk Festival

Held over nine days in the second half of January, this international event is a renowned music venue. The city is taken over by thousands of visitors and the cafés obligingly stay open till the early hours of the morning. A new arena, opened in 2001, boasts a 50-metre long stage that rotates 180 degrees, making it one of the largest stages in Latin America. It has the capacity for an audience of nearly 10,000 people.
