The Ardennes

Sites range from WWII history (the Battle of the Bulge) to areas which are rich in fauna and flora amongst the vast area of fir and broad leaf forests, hills and rivers. Pretty villages nestle in the valleys where traditional customs, arts and crafts linger on. Events are held in the castles and forts. A great area for walking, mountain biking, fishing. Canoeing and kayaking are popular in the spring.
