Rila Monastery

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this monastery is in the heart of the Rila Mountains and is one of the largest and most famous Eastern Orthodox Monastery. The size is impressive with four floors as a residential area with 300 cells for the monks, four chapels, kitchen, library, guestrooms and an abbot's room. The kitchen area shows large cooking pots.
