Discovered in 1974 by farmers digging a well, this excavation had laid hidden for 2,000 years. It is now a World Heritage Site. Thousands of life-sized terracotta warriors are displayed in battle formation and were buried with the First Emperor Qin Shihuang. All the models are individual with different facial expressions, clothing and stance. Said to be one of the greatest discoveries of the 20th century.
