Cartagena

This beautiful old walled city is restored to the former glory of the 16th and 17th centuries and is full of Colonial charm. The walls are nearly 11 km long, 25 m high and 7.5 m thick. Nestled within the walls are small backstreets, accommodation with wooden balconies, patios covered with flowers and stately houses. Full of Colonial charm, houses are brightly painted in red, orange or blue. You can also visit the beach for a relaxing time in the sun!
