At the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta you and your bike will be welcomed by four bike enthusiast owner operators, speaking Spanish, English and French.

You can ride right in, park under cover, hose down the bike (and then you in a hot shower) hang up your boots and rest your helmet on specially made hooks. Eat hearty food, stretch your body in the 22metre swimming pool, swap stories and route plan in the evening. The four owners have done extensive biking around Colombia and down to Bolivia over the last 7 years so are more than willing to share their highlights and tips.

With these tips you can spend days with minimal gear exploring the mountains around you or head down to the beach. Or even leave the bikes for a day and head out on foot...or boat!
