Kutna Hora

Kutna Hora is a medieval silver mining town and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the prosperity of the mines arose this beautiful town with Renaissance, Gothic and Baroque buildings. It was the Royal Centre for the Hapsburg Empire. The Royal Mint is sited within the Italian Court. St. Barbara’s Cathedral and elegant Burgher houses were built through the 15th century.
