Sangay National Park (Parque Nacional Sangay)

From tropical forest and glaciers to snow-capped mountain ranges and two active volcanoes, this park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The mountain tapir and Andean condor are indigenous to this area. Also found here are the jaguar, ocelot, spectacled bear, white-tailed deer, margay, brocket deer and giant otters. Numerous lakes, waterfalls and vegetation are present, depending on the area of the park.
