Ecuador
One of the world’s famous train rides which zigs-zags through the snow-capped volcanic mountains passing small villages. Commencing at Alausi, the return trip takes around 2.5 hours. There is a brief stop at Pistishi where there are traditional dancers and time for refreshments. This route is known as "the most difficult railway in the world" due to the near-vertical wall of rock called "The Devil’s Nose".
