Soomaa National Park

The Visitors Centre is situated at Tõramaa. The park contains roe deer, wild boars, lynx, beavers, elk, brown bears and wolves. Rare birds, including golden eagles, black grouse, black storks and capercaillies, can also be seen. Take note of the "fifth season" with spring floods that can raise water levels by five metres, thus flooding houses, roads, fields, and forests.
