Many monuments can be seen at this site: the Roman Theatre which dates back to 16-15 BC, and the Roman Amphitheatre which was used for gladiatorial contests and had seating for 15,000 viewers in raised tiers, but the lower seating only survives. The Roman Circus, built about 20 BC, was used for two- and four-horse chariot races. The Roman Bridge, Los Milagros Aqueduct, and the Temple of Diana are also here. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
