The Picos de Europa Mountains

43.185721, -4.8217

This spectacular mountain range is made from limestone with the highest peak at 2,650 metres. Great twisty roads, narrow river gorges, and a national park where Iberian brown bears and wild horses roam are part of the charm. The first capital of Christian Spain was the small mountain village of Cangas de Onís.
