The city of Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for the Georgian-style architecture and Roman baths which are situated close to the 18th-century Pump Room (where traditional afternoon tea may be taken). The Royal Crescent, built in 1775, is a semi-elliptical construction of thirty identical stone houses, making it one of the most impressive streets in Britain. The Circus, Pulteney Bridge, Lansdown Crescent, and Old Orchard Street Theatre were built in the 18th century. The 16th century Abbey is host to many concerts and organ recitals throughout the year.
