Gibraltar

This network of naturally formed limestone caves are 300 feet above sea level and named after a similar cave in Italy. Known to the ancient Greeks, Romans and Phoenicians it boasts magnificent stalactites and stalagmites. The Cathedral Cave, the largest cavern, has wonderful natural acoustics and is now an auditorium for concerts. It has long been thought that this cave is bottomless and that the Barbary Macaques (apes) entered Gibraltar from Morocco through this way.
