Iwokrama Rainforest Reserve and Canopy Walkway

This 360,000-hectare rain forest serves as a research centre into the best management of tropical forests and much native flora and fauna can be seen. The Canopy Walkway is mid-level with the jungle and offers a unique opportunity to observe wildlife of birds, insects, and reptiles from heights of up to 30 m. You may even see a jaguar. The dawn chorus is particularly special. The cost of the construction was $180,000 USD.
