Dubrovnik is ringed with 15th century stone walls which can be up to 24 m high, 6 m thick and measure 2 km long. From this walk you are able to view the terracotta roofs of the houses and understand why it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Called the "Pearl of the Adriatic", the city is full of stunning architecture, fountains, museums, monasteries and churches. You can visit several forts: Fort Minceta, Fort St. John’s, Fort Lawrence, and Fort Revelin.
