Bandhavgarh National Park
23.722309, 81.024106
Despite its relatively small size (720 square-km), this park hosts more tigers than any other park in India. Elephants, leopards, Indian bison, spotted deer, hyenas, wild dogs, sloth bears, jackals, numerous birds, and over 100 species of butterflies can be seen within the 168 square-km area that is open to the public. Considered to be India’s most scenic park, it hosts a 2,000-year-old fort and a dense sal-tree jungle.
