Another UNESCO World Heritage Site, this ziggurat (a terraced pyramid with a flat platform at the top) was built in 1250 BC. The temple and tomb complex rose to a height of 174 feet over the five platforms. Today, just over two platforms remain and this is said to be the most complete ziggurat in the world.
