Vidimyri Turf Church
65.538814, -19.470855
This historic building was built in 1834 from driftwood and turf, although the pulpit is from an earlier church and the altar, of Danish origin, dates from 1616. The church yard gate has bells and remains in its original position. Most of the wood is the original, but the turf has been replaced. It is said to be one of the finest examples of local architecture and still serves as a parish church.
