A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this ancient city is famous for the red sandstone that was used in 1200 BC. The Pink City is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Reached through a narrow gorge which, in places, is only 10 feet wide and surrounded by a rock face that reaches three-storeys high. In the city centre are many homes, temples, storerooms, and the magnificent Treasury.
