50.428128, 69.179301
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is comprised of two protected areas - the Naurzum State Nature Reserve and the Korgalzhyn State Nature Reserve. The wetlands are a main stopover point for migrating birds from Europe, Africa, and South Asia to their breeding areas of western and eastern Siberia. Many varieties of steppe flora can be seen and perhaps the endangered Saiga antelope.
