Pak Ou Caves

These two caves are situated on the Mekong River. They are famous for their hundreds of small wooden sculptures of Buddha, laid out on the shelves in the walls, but, sadly, most of them are damaged. The figures are in many positions such as teaching, meditation, rain, peace, and reclining.
