Rundāle Palace and Museum

This Baroque palace was built in 1736 and took four years to complete. It is said to be the most outstanding Baroque style monuments within Latvia. Areas open to the public include the Gilt Hall, the Great Gallery, and the White Hall. The magnificent French garden hosts an artificial canal, three fountains, and a large rose garden. Many cultural events take place here.
