Monte Carlo Casino and Opera House

Built in 1893 by the same architect of The Paris Opera House, this venue has 28 onyx Ionic columns which surround the marble-paved atrium. This gives access to the Opera Hall which is decorated in red and gold, with many sculptures, bas-reliefs, and frescoes. The gaming rooms feature stained-glass windows, beautiful paintings, bronze lamps, sculptures, and many magnificent decorations.
