Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park

43.703952, 101.231646

This park covers over 43,500 square km and offers much to see: the Hongor Sands, the Bayanzag area, also known as the Flaming Cliffs, where there are many dinosaur fossils to be seen; the Yolin Am Canyon, where the ice sometimes thaws during the summer; and the Gurvansaikhan Mountains where bird watching may include the sight of a fierce Lammergeiers and a red-winged wallcreeper. The most famous sand dunes are Khongoryn Els - the Singing Sands.
