Melaka and George Town in Penang

These towns are significant examples of 500-year-old colonial towns and are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They reflect the cultural and historic influences which came about by their function as a trading post between Europe and Great Britain through to the Middle East. In Melaka, Chinatown is a maze of narrow streets and the Jonker’s Walk Night Market is held every Friday and Saturday.
