Elephants, baboons, bushbucks, buffalo, waterbucks, crocodile, oribi, roan antelope, hippopotamus, and various types of monkeys can be seen. Lions are spotted occasionally and there are a wide variety of birds. November to May is the best time to visit as the lush vegetation has dried out and the animals are to be found around the water holes. The Wikki Warm Springs gush out from underneath a cliff and are flood lit at night.
