Boquete

Tucked within the mountains, this pretty village is surrounded by coffee plantations which are harvested October to February. The surrounding area offers many attractions: a zip-line ride over the canopy of The Cloud Forest, hot springs to bathe along the Caldera River, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, or fishing. The 4-hour walk from Cerro Punta takes you through tall trees where there are a wide variety of bird species.
