Sition Arqueológico Chavín de Huántar

UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pre-Inca culture archaeological site worth seeing. The site fetures a flat-topped pyramid with passageways underneath. Hiring a guide is recommended to appriciate the rich history of this site. When we visited the site late in the afternoon, we could only find a spanish language guide. 

There is a national level museum on the north side of town, Chavin National Museum, which we did not have time to visit.
