Parque Arqueológico do Vale do Côa
41.079882, -7.112168
Three areas are open to the public: Canada do Inferno, Penascosa, and Ribeira de Piscos where you can see cave paintings of horses, mountain goats, deer, and wild bulls. There is one image of a human form and several of fish. The etchings were thought to be made with quartz or flint and carved into the rock using straight lines or zigzags. The Quinta da Ervamoira Museum is at the centre of the park where the traditional arts of wine and bread making can be seen.
