Jesuit Missions of La Santísima Trinidad De Paraná and Jesús De Tavarangue

La Santísima ruins has a central square and within the temple is an altar carved completely from one large stone block. At the Jesús mission is the Church of Reducción de Jesús where the stone pulpit, the rose-shaped carved stone lintels in the doors, the bell tower, and the angel friezes are well-renowned. The central area was originally 70 m long and 24 m wide. Both sites are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are considered to be the most impressive Jesuit Missions in the country.
