Bran Castle

45.514955, 25.367534

Known as Dracula’s Castle, this is a national landmark in the country, although there is no historical evidence that the author, Bram Stoker, knew of it. Set dramatically against the backdrop of a rocky bluff, it conveys the aura of vampires and dark deeds. It is now a museum where you can take a guided tour or walk about individually. Furniture and art collected by Queen Marie is on view.
