Gamzigrad-Romuliana, Palace of Galerius (Felix Romuliana)

This UNESCO World Heritage Site dates back to 298 AD when construction commenced. It covers an area of 10 acres with excavated buildings including two palaces, two temples, baths, impressive gates and another building with a corridor of beautiful mosaics. Portraits of the Roman Emperors, gold coins, and a sculpture of the goddess of hunt, Diana, have also been unearthed.
