The Studenica Monastery is a 12th-century Serbian Orthodox Monastery situated 39 kilometres (24 mi) southwest of Kraljevo and 40.9 kilometres (25.4 mi) east of Ivanjica in central Serbia. It is one of the largest and richest Serb Orthodox monasteries.

I really liked this place for the arcitecture and peacefulness. It was not very busy and I pretty much had to place to myself. The road I took there was boring at first but once I left Karaljevo and got on to the E-761 (The 22) travelling SW then a right turn on to the 30 the road was great with some nice sweeping bends and in a bit of a valley.

Again if you like this kind of history and arcitecture then its a great place to visit. I didnt find there was a restaurant/hotel nearby but I didnt use it
