13.452248, 35.775541

Not accessible during the wet season from June to October due to floods. Organized trips are made by 4x4 transport from Khartoum. There are three ecosystems in the park: the riverine, the woodland, and the mayas (wetland areas) with each area having its own flora and fauna. Leopard, lion, cheetah, red-buck, bush buck, buffalo, oribi, and baboons live in the park. One-hundred-sixty species of birds, pythons, monitor lizards, and many other snakes can be seen. Elephants migrate here during the wet season.
